Fred Lewis Clyde, 702 1/2 Seventh st. SE, a Cedar Rapids resident for 52 years and an employe of Barron Motor Co. for 23 years before he retired 3 years ago, died Wednesday following a long illness. He was born Sept. 9, 1882, in Dallas county, Iowa.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. John Bilsland, Mrs. Shirley Galloway, and Ramona Clyde, all of Cedar Rapids; a son, Donald Clyde of Des Moines, and 7 grandchildren.
Mr. Clyde was a member of the Friends church.
Services: Turner chapel at 3 Friday by the Rev. Milford Olson. Burial: Linwood. Friends may call at the chapel.
