Mrs. Arthur Cox, 416 First street SW, a resident of Cedar Rapids since 1918, died in a local hospital at 12:45 p.m. Friday after a brief illness. Born Feb. 10, 1893 at Larimer, Ia., she would have been 52 years old Saturday.
Mrs. Cox was a member of Cedar Rapids Rebekah lodge No. 494, the auxiliary of the I.A. of M. Companions of the Forest and the Past Noble Grands association.
Beside her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Plotz; a grandson, Kenneth Arthur Plotz; a sister, Mrs. Martin Fritz; a brother, Charles Palmer, all of Cedar Rapids, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the Rohn chapel at a time to be announced later.
