CONNIE SUE DESOTEL Cedar Rapids
Connie Sue DeSotel, 71, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021, from injuries suffered in a car accident May 24, 2021. Connie was born to Arthur and Kathryn DeSotel on Feb. 26, 1950, in Cedar Rapids. Per her wishes, she was cremated and a private family graveside service will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. She is survived by her loving daughter, Julie DeSotel; brothers; Bruce (Laurie) DeSotel, Craig (Pam) DeSotel, Mark (Charlotte) DeSotel and Gary DeSotel; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and –nephews; and her special furry pups. In 1968, Connie was in the first graduating class of Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids and spent her employment years in the manufacturing field. Connie enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Hobbies include listening to Christian music, especially the Newsboys United, and coloring books. She was a member of The Spring of Life Foursquare Church of Cedar Rapids. Memorials may be directed to the family.
