Victor Cedillo, 94, of Cedar Rapids, passed on to see Jesus and was welcomed by his mother Andrea on Friday, May 7, 2021. Visitation will be at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, 11:00am, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with Pastor David King of Oakland Church of the Nazarene officiating.

Following the continued proclamations issued by the Governor, physical distancing must be practiced which may require a limited number of people allowed into a visitation at one time and limited seating available at services. The use of facial coverings is strongly encouraged

Victor was born in Rock Island, Illinois on October 15, 1926, graduated from United Township School in East Moline, Illinois, and served in WWII. He worked at Collins Radio, was self-employed and owned V and A Masonry. Victor was always so sweet! He was never negative or judgmental and was a rock for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Evangeline (Wells); and children, Vickie Cedillo, Julieana (Nicholas) Tutt, Tracy Herman, Jonathan Inge, and Lupe Steenblock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvadore and Andrea Cedillo; his brother and sisters, Gloria Zaragoza (East Moline), Cassie Ward (California), Nellie Puga (East Moline), Delores Galardo (California), and Tony Cedillo (Davenport).

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be sorely missed by all including his many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
