Harriet L. Diehl, 84, formerly of 1711 Sixth avenue SE, died in a Cedar Rapids nursing home at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday following a long illness. Mrs. Diehl was born in Cedar Rapids Dec. 9, 1869.
Surviving are two sons, Howard W. Diehl of Fresno, Calif., and Edward K. Diehl, of Santa Ana, Calif.; two grandsons in Pasadena, Calif., and two great-granddaughters.
Services will be conducted in the Beatty-Beurle chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Don L. Andersen, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist church. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Friday.
