MARION LOCALS.
Oscar D. Cooper who has been in poor health for a long time, died of consumption yesterday morning about 3 o'clock, at his residence in this city, leaving a wife, and one daughter of 11 years. Mr. Cooper, who was about 40 years old, has been a resident of Marion and vicinity for more than a quarter of a century, and has been in the grocery business here until lately. He was respected by a large circle of friends. The funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at half past one o'clock at his pate residence on West Main street.
