Married Ella Cooper in Marion on Dec. 18, 1894. A son and daughter, died in infancy.

Edmund C. Kemnitz died Wednesday evening at his residence at Wood Acres, following a stroke suffered ten days ago. He was born in Green Bay, Wis., December 2, 1869, and was married in Marion, December 18, 1894 to Ella Cooper. They observed their golden wedding anniversary here last year. A son and daughter, born to them died in infancy.
Mr. Kemnitz for many years was a salesman in this territory, and was well known particularly among furniture dealers, having represented some of the larger concerns in this line.
Surviving besides the wife, are wo brothers and a sister, Theodore Kemntiz and Mrs. Ida Thom of Louisville, Ky., and Louis Kemnitz of Green Bay, Wis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Turner Mortuary in Cedar Rapids, the hour and details to be announced later.
