Ella P. Kemnitz, 90, of 355 Marion Blvd. and a lifelong Marion resident, passed away at 1:33 p.m. Thursday, July 14 in a Marion nursing home. She was born the daughter of Oscar and Elizabeth Ross Cooper on April 9, 1876 at Marion. She was a graduate of Marion high school and was a lifelong resident of Marion except for a few years spent in Green Bay, Wis. She was married to Ed Kemnitz who passed away on Aug. 1, 1945. Mrs. Kemntiz was a member of the First Methodist church of Marion.
Surviving are cousins.
Services were 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Murdoch chapel in Marion, conducted by Rev. Charles Moore. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery.
