Anna M. Cooper, 55, died at her home, 1790 Seventh avenue at 7:20 p.m. Thursday. Mrs. Cooper was born in Newark, Ill. August 7, 1870. She was married to M.P. Cooper in 1897. They moved to Marion in 1901. She was a member of the Baptist church at Sandwick, Ill. She leaves her husband and one son Charles, at home, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Cass of Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 at the family home The Rev. Harold E. Carlson will officiate and burial will be in Oak Shade.
