Joseph “Joe” Arlen Frazier, Jr., 68, of Coggon, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. In agreement with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Joe’s life is being planned for a later date.

Joe was born on November 13, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Joseph Arlen, Sr. and Doris Joann (Hartwig) Frazier. He was a 1970 graduate of Washington High School and went on to serve honorably in the United States Marines from 1970 to 1972. On September 7, 1985, Joe was united in marriage to Tami Rochau. He enjoyed camping, boating, being outdoors, and of course “puttering” around in his pride and joy, his man cave. For those of you that knew Joe, you knew how important his family and friends were to him. He will be greatly missed by many.

Joe is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Tami of Coggon; two daughters, Lyndsey Frazier and Brittney (Brad) Arends both of Parkersburg; one grandson, Kyler Arends; two siblings, Jeff (April) Ferrie of Cedar Rapids and John Ferrie of Texas; father-in-law, Arnie Rochau of Stanwood, Iowa; sister-in-law, Sharyl (John) McCusker of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Ferrie; father, Joseph Frazier, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Bonnie Rochau.
