Word has been received of the death of Mrs. O.J. Dithridge, 85, April 5, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Townley, in Altadena, Calif.
Mrs. Dithridge was born Oct. 21, 1874, and on Sept. 6, 1892 she was married to Griffen S. Titus. They later moved to Waterloo where he died in 1927. She moved to Long Beach, Calif., and in 1934 was married to O.J. Dithridge, who died in 1958.
Mrs. Dithridge is survived by five children, Mrs. Townley; Mrs. G.N. Armstrong, Glendale, Calif.; Cecil S. Titus, Los Angeles; Stewart G. Titus, Janesville; Mrs. Harold J. Miller, Waterloo, and a sister, Katherine Penn, DeWitt; 3 grandsons and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday in Pasadena. Services Saturday at the Murdoch funeral home, Marion, with the Rev. R.L. Russell, of First Evangelical church of Waterloo, officiating.
