Jimmie Lee Maclin, 66, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died of complications related to COVID-19 on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, in Oconomowoc, Wis.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee, at a later date. Family and friends may join the visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. by way of a Zoom link, which is located on Jimmie's obituary page at www.lensingfuneral.com. The family has established a GoFund Me page, which is located on the funeral home website.

Jimmie was born Jan. 2, 1954, in Memphis, Tenn., the son of Albert and Kattie Bell (Billingsley) Maclin. He was a resident of Cedar Rapids for over 40 years moving to Wisconsin seven years ago.
Jimmie was an entrepreneur. Most important to Jimmie was his family.
Jimmie is survived by his children, Betty Maclin, Patricia Lynn Kubera, Jessica Maclin, Honor (Carnell Sr.) Hayes and James Maclin; multiple step and god children; and his siblings, Alonzo Macklin, Ruby Harrell, Mary Riley, Virginia Curtis, Betty Jean Koontz, Albert Maclin and Estelle Williams. He will be missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lora Lea Maclin; and his son, Otis Ray Maclin.
