Mrs. Herman C. Fuhrman resident of Marion for about twenty-five years, died Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. after an illness of many years.
As Anna Marie Draeger, daughter of Christian and Henrietta Draeger, she was born in Milwaukee March 10, 1871. She was the youngest and last surviving member of a family of three brothers and four sisters. She was married to Herman C. Fuhrman April 10, 1890. They began housekeeping in Milwaukee, living there until they moved to Marion about 1911. Four children were born to them: Herbert, who died in childhood; George, August and Anna. Mrs. Fuhrman is survived by her husband, two sons, George, who is in the Philippine Islands, August W. of California and Mrs. Earl Cone of Marion.
Private funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Yocom chapel. The Rev. E.T. Gough, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate. The family requests that no flowers be sent. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
