Anna Perfield White, was born April 11, 1870, in Wyoming, Iowa, and died in Chicago May 13, 1894. She was married to W.T. White, in Marion, June 18, 1889. Miss Perfield was a resident of Marion at the time of her marriage and with her husband for some years afterward. As a railway employe Mr. White found it necessary to move to Chicago three years ago. The young couple had many friends in this city who greatly sorrow over Mrs. White's sudden death. She was the mother of three children, the baby but one week old. The body reached this city on Monday morning, and services were held at 10 a.m., int he M.E. church conducted by Rev. J.G. Van Ness. The body was laid to rest in the city cemetery. Her sun went down while it was yet day, to rise for her in a land of blessedness and joy.
