Mrs. W. F. Walsh of this city passed away Tuesday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Curley at Cedar Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Walsh and little son came to Cresco to live last January and during their residence here made many friends, who sympathize deeply with the bereaved husband and little son, not yet old enough to realize the extent of his loss.
Mrs. Walsh was born at Cascade, Iowa, Dec. 4, 1885. With her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Curley, she moved to Cedar Rapids eight years ago. She was married on April 22, 1909 at Cedar Rapids to W. F. Walsh.
With her husband and little son she came to Cresco last January. In the summer she was taken sick and later went to her parent's home at Cedar Rapids, where she slowly grew weaker, although everything possible was done for her.
She died Tuesday, Dec. 9, and burial was at Cedar Rapids. She leaves to mourn her death: her husband and little son 2 1-2 years old; three sisters and four brothers in Cedar Rapids, and one sister in Sioux City.
