Sua Thi Lo, 89, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at her home following a long illness. Private family service will be held Saturday at Teahen Funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Cemetery. All in attendance must wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines.
Sua is survived by her children, Yeo Leo and Som Lo both still residing in Laos, Siene (Xieng) Quang, John (Tok) Leo, Khay (Vanh) Soukthavone, Seum (Chan) Leo all of Cedar Rapids, and Suan (Austin) Tran of Des Moines; 25 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Yen; two brothers and one sister.
Sua was born on May 9, 1931 in Vietnam, the daughter of Hoa Lo and Yeo Lo. She married Yen Leovan in Vietnam.
Sua enjoyed knitting, cooking, and taking care of her grandchildren.
