By the terms of a will left by Mrs. Mathilda Carlson, who died at her home, 717 Eighth avenue West, Cedar Rapids, the Swedish Lutheran church will be lifted from debt. Mrs. Carlson left the church $1,000. She was 56 years old and had no near relatives.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born May 23, 1857 and died Sept. 15 1913. She is buried in Murdoch-Linwood Cemetery.
