William Joseph Kennedy, 52, of 1314 Ellis boulevard NW, died Monday at University hospitals, Iowa City, after a long illness.
Born Dec. 28, 1920, in Ely, he had lived in Cedar Rapids most of his life.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; three sons, Larry Kennedy, Cedar Rapids, and Steven and Gary Kennedy, at home; two daughters, Sally and Colleen, Cedar Rapids; two stepsons, Dennis McGuire and James McGuire; one grandchild, six step-grandchildren, a brother, Emery S. Kennedy, and a sister, Mrs. William J. Grafton, all of Cedar Rapids.
