Genevieve J. Kost, 69, of 895 Ninth street, died at her home Friday. She had lived in Marion for the last 25 years.
She was born Jan. 27, 1898, at Bertram. She was married to Paul Kost on May 29, 1931, at Iowa City. She was a member of the First Baptist chruch.
Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Lapham and Mrs. Roy A. Boyson of Marion; a son, Charles A. of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Brink of Muscatine.
Services: Monday at 10 a.m. at the Baxter Memorial chapel by the Rev. Charles Moore. Burial: Oak Shade. The casket will not be opened at any time. Friends may call at the chapel.
