Linda Lou Black, two year old daughter of Neil and Florence Wenger Black of Cedar Rapids died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in St. Luke's hospital following a brief illness. She was born August 8, 1944 in Coggon. The family moved to 101 Kenridge Terrace, Cedar Rapids in June 1945.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers: Leonard and Loren both at home and two grandmothers: Mrs. Lula Black, St. Mary's Pa., and Mrs. Belle Wenger, Central City. A brother, Richard, died November 26, 1936 at Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services were conducted from Yocom chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Samuel Dooty of the Church of God, Cedar Rapids, in charge. Burial was made in Oak Shade cemetery.
