ROBERT D. KREBS, A WELL KNOWN CITIZEN, DIED LAST NIGHT.
Robert D. Krebs, a well known resident of Cedar Rapids, died at 7 o'clock last evening. He was born in Switzerland on January 10, 1846, and came to this country with his parents when about five years of age. He lived in Madison, Wis., until he was 22 and then located in Cedar Rapids. He was an active business man until April, 1892, when he became partially paralyzed, from which malady he never recovered. He was married to Abbey L. Hutchinson in November, 1874. His wife, one daughter and four sons survive him. He was a member of the first of Krebs Bros. of this city for ten years, and was well and favorable known by the citizens of this city. He was an active member of the First Baptist church, with which he united in the year 1868, and was the church treasurer and trustee for a number of years.
The funeral services will occur at 2 p.m. Sunday from the residence, No. 331 Third avenue West. The family request that no flowers be sent.
