PRAIRIEBURG--Joseph M. Holub, 78, Prairieburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Prairieburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Six grandsons will be pallbearers.

Rosary will be recited Friday, Jan. 27, at 8 p.m., at the McNamara Funeral home, Anamosa.

He was the son of the late Martin and Mary Holub, Prairieburg. He had farmed most of his life in the Prairieburg vicinity. He was married to Anna B. Holub, Oct. 9, 1904, at Prairieburg.

Survivors include his wife, Anna; four sons, Joseph D. Holub and Hubert Holub, Cedar Rapids; Merle Holub, Central City; Bernard Holub, Prairieburg.

Others include his daughters, Mrs. Agnes Quigley, Mrs. Margaret Hostak, Mrs. Jeanette Jones, all of Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Emma Walker, Cedar Rapids.

Six brothers, Henry Holub, Frank Holub, Raymond Holub, all of Monticello; Paul Holub and Thomas Holub, Anamosa; and William Holub, Central City; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Leo, and a daughter, Hilda.
