Memorial
Levi Hunter Allen Holten, 20, of Cedar Rapids, passed away from complications of a gunshot wound on December 2, 2019. A visitation will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home Stateroom on Sunday, December 8, 2019, from 3-6 PM. A funeral service will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Dr. Jim Coyle on Monday, December 9th, at 1:00 PM.

Levi was born January 18, 1999, the son of Shane Holten and Jami (Sprague) Jones. He graduated from Eldora State Training School. Levi worked in construction, mainly concrete. He enjoyed dirt bike riding and fishing. Most of all, Levi loved spending time with his family.

Levi is survived by his daughter, Delilah; his mother, Jami Jones (Jeff Lewis); and his father, Shane Holten. He is also survived by his eight siblings, Shenandoah Carmer, Cody Sprague, Austin (Maddie) Holten, Shayla Holten, Whitney (Brandon) Holten, Jayelynn Rizzio and her father Scott Rizzio, Brianna Holten and Shania Holten; two step-brothers, Ryder and Bryce Lewis; along with his maternal grandmother, Marsha (Robert) Rowe;paternal grandmother, Jan Holten; great-grandmother, Wandalene O’Connor; nephew, Mason Holten and niece, Rhaelynn Holten. Also surviving are Levi’s daughter’s mother, Kaylea Stocker; grandparents, Simon (Dawn) Stocker and Angie (Rob) Zenables; and great-grandmother, Sonjia Cornell.

Levi was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Howard Holten; maternal grandfather, James Sprague; aunts, Julie Holten and Stacy Sprague; and special friend, Sabrina Hustad Janish.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
