Death of Mrs. Wm. Buchanan
Mrs. Jennie T. Buchanan, wife of Wm. Buchanan, Esq., died yesterday afternoon at their residence, corner of First Street and Fifth avenue west, as noted in last evening's paper. She was an active member of the United Presbyterian church, Rev. James Dunchan, pastor, and well known throughout the entire city, not only as a teacher in the Sabbath school, but for many years, a very efficient teacher in our public schools. She was a woman of very fine intellect, and her death will fill many a heart outside her own kindred, with the deepest sadness. Her age was 38 years. The funeral services will be held at the residence of her husband, Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock.
