Geo Hollom, Sr., who was so badly injured in a runaway a short time ago, died last night after having been in a semi-delirious condition for over a week. He was one of the old settlers of this city and was born in England in 1828. He came to this state in 1847 and lived at Iowa City till 1851, when he moved to this city where he has lived ever since. He was a baker by trade and was well known in the city. He leaves to mourn his loss seven children, five daughters and two sons, who have the utmost sympathy of their many friends. Mr. Hollom was a consistent member of Grace church and the funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Thos. Green rector of Grace church. The time of the funeral has not yet been fixed, pending an answer from one of his daughters, Mrs. H. F. Marsh of Ogden, Utah. Mrs. J. M Dimmitt of Laramie City, Wyoming, has telegraphed that she will arrive here tomorrow night.
