Robert August Kunzman, 718 B avenue NE, a Cedar Rapids resident for 60 years and a retired 51-year employe of the Chandler Company, died in a Cedar rapids nursing home at 7:15 p.m. Thursday following a long illness. Born Aug. 23, 1873, at Highland, Ia., he came to Cedar Rapids from Monticello. He was married to Wilhelmina Herrling in 1894 at Wadena.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Miss Lissette Kunzman, Mrs. Arthur E. Smith and Mrs. Leon Hanson, all of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Arthur and Ralph Kunzmann, both of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Louise Chandler of Santa Barbara, Calif.; three brothers, Amos and George, both of Cedar Rapids and Arthur Kunzmann of Volga City, and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Kunzmann was a member of the First Lutheran church.
Services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. H.G. Schwegler. Burial will be in Linwood cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
