Mrs. Frank Trcka, 69, of 823 Eleventh avenue SE, who lived most of her life in Cedar Rapids, died in a local hospital Saturday morning after a lingering illness. She was born in Czechoslovakia Oct. 11, 1876, daughter of Charles and Christina Vomacka, and came to Cedar Rapids with her parents as a child. On May 19, 1897, she was married to Frank Trcka.
Surviving are her husband, Frank; two sons, Stanley A. and Leo F.; a daughter, Mrs. Anton Novak of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Flieder of Waterloo and Mrs. Mary Swacka of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Anton Vomacka of Cedar Rapids, and nine grandsons. A son, Frank J., preceded her in death in 1944. She was a member of the Cadets of St. George and of the Rosary society of St. Wenceslaus church.
Services will be conducted at the Polansky funeral chapel Tuesday morning at a time to be announced later.
