Cedar Rapids Republican and Times Sunday March 26, 1922
Francis Law, age 80, a resident of Cedar Rapids for the last twenty years, died at a local hospital early Saturday. The family home was at 1323 B avenue.
Mr. Law enlisted in the Thirtieth Wisconsin, August 1862, and was discharged in 1865. He held membership in the B.I. Humphrey post No. 114, at Hudson, Wis., later transferring to T.Z. Cook post, Cedar Rapids. Surviving him are his wife and one brother, Columbus, of New Richmond, Wis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today from St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal chapel. Dr. A.M. Jayne will officiate. The body will be taken to New Richmond, Wis., for burial. For futher information call Wymer.
