Mrs. Elizabeth Archer, 712 South First street, west, died at her home at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. Mrs. Archer was born Sept. 9, 1857 at Paducah, Ky. She leaves besides her husband, two sons, Frank of Gobles, Mich., and Harry of this city; one daughter, Mrs. T.M. Hayden of San Antonio; one sister, Mrs. George Leathar of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Eugene Archer of Cedar Rapids, Dale Archer of Gobles, Mich., and Vernon Hayden of this city; and one great grandchild, Elizabeth Hayden of this city. Funeral services will be held from the Turner chapel at 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. Frank Ward, Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Linwood cemetery.
