Emil "Tony" Schultz, 56, of 300 N ave. NW, died Monday following a long illness. A lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, he was born March 27, 1902. He was employed by the Quaker Oaks Company in the package department almost 40 years.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Jones Schultz, to whom he was married in Cedar Rapids Sept. 2, 1938; 2 daughters, Susan and Mary, 3 sisters, Mrs. John (Blanch) Martin, Agnes Schultz, and Mrs. Paul (Libbie) Noeller, and 2 brothers, William and Joseph, all of Cedar Rapids. He was a member of Lodge Prokop Velky, No. 7, ZCBJ.
Services: Janeba funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Rollin Oswald of the Methodist church in Mt. Vernon. Burial: Czech National. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
