Irene Park, 605 Memorial drive SE, widow of Simeon Parks, and a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday following a brief illness. She was born July 7, 1892, in Cedar Rapids.
Surviving are a son, Donald Parks, and a daughter, Mrs. Lyle Wessale; two brothers, James and Henry Cowden, and two sisters, Mrs. L.L. Valliere and Grace Hopkins, all of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services: Turner chapel east at 10:30 a.m. Thursday by Reagan Benedict of the Cedar Valley Bible church. Burial: Shiloh cemetery.
