Simeon Parks, 605 Memorial Dr. SE, a Cedar Rapids resident for 39 years and a retired groceryman died in a local hospital Tuesday evening following a sudden illness. He was born January 29, 1885 at Carmi, Illinois and was married to Irene Cowden February 14, 1912 in Cedar Rapids. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, a daughter and four grandchildren.
