A.L. Freeman Died Friday; Lived Here Until Just Recently
A.L. Freeman, a former resident of Marion, but recently a resident of Cedar Rapids, died Friday night at his home, 319 1/2 A avenue NW. He was born in Springville in 1882. He leaves besides his widow, three sons, LeRoy, Emery and Robert of Cedar Rapids, and one daughter Mrs. Firman Clark of Vinton. A brother, B.J. Freeman of Cedar Rapids, a sister, Mrs. Ann Milligan, of Miami, Fla., and two uncles, L.J. and F.E. Brenneman of Marion, also survive.
The funeral was held Monday from the Turner chapel, with Rev. Frank Ward of Sunshine Mission in charge of the services. Burial was made in Oak Shade cemetery.
