Mrs. Belle Holding, 84, mother of Mrs. James A. Neff of Marion and Mrs. A.E. Cubbison of Cedar Rapids, died Friday morning at her home in Garnett, Kan., following a long illness.
Mrs. Holding was a member of the Christian church. A son, Sylvester Holding, of Kincaid, Kan.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Holding and her husband, the late James W. Holding, resided in Marion for a number of years. Mr. Holding died at Marion in 1924.
The body will arrive in Marion Sunday afternoon and services will be held at the grave in Oak Shade cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
