CENTER POINT--Algie Howard Ring, 85, retired farmer, died Saturday afternoon at his home here. He is survived by his wife, Emma Mae; by a son, Wilbur, of Cedar Rapids, and by three daughters--Lena Doty of California, Ena[sic] Hand of Woodburn, and Laverna Jones of Center Point. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Evangelical Brethren church. Burial will be at the Center Point cemetery. Friends may call at the Sarchett-Murdock funeral home.
