Lois M. Armstrong, 87, of Geneva Towers, died Friday at Monticello Care Center, Hinsdale, Ill., following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Armstrong was a former resident of Atkins.
Shew as born May 1, 1896, at Lisbon and married Thomas Graham Armstrong Aug. 16, 1917, in Cedar Rapids. Mr. Armstrong died Feb. 24, 1979.
Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Cedar Rapids and the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include one daughter, Gayle Galhorn of Oakbrook, Ill.; one sister, Velma Armstrong of Atkins; and two grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. at First Lutheran Church by Pastor Gary Hunstad. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery....
