Mary Woodward Powell, widow of the late Judge Thomas B. Powell of Cedar Rapids, died in a Hudson, Wis., hospital Sunday, May 29. She was born Feb. 28, 1880.

Surviving are 2 sons, John M. Powell of Clear Lake, formerly of Tipton, Thomas B. Powell, Jr., of Anamosa; 2 daughters, Mrs. T. J. Rothe of Hudson and Mrs. W. W. Strohbehn of Yerba Buena Isle, San Francisco, Calif.; 2 sisters, 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were in Cedar Rapids June 1, followed by cremation with interment in Linwood cemetery.
