Cedar Rapids, Ia. Nov. 24--Milo Smith Crozier, for many years one of the best known business men of Cedar Rapids, died at 11 o'clock Thursday night in a local hospital from an acute attack of uremic toxicity believed to have been caused by inhaling fumes of sulphuric acid which he had used to clean the back of a mirror during the day in the basement of his flower store in the Hotel Montrose.

Crozier was found stumbling about in a semi-conscious condition in the alley back of the hotel shortly after 7 o'clock in the evening by Will Anderson, night baggageman at the hotel.

Anderson saw that Crozier was in need of aid and at Crozier's request took him to the basement of the flower store.

Lynn Crozier, the youngest son, came to the store about 9 o'clock and on going to the basement found his father leaning against a wall, apparently sick. In a moment or two Crozier braced up and went over to the water faucet for a drink. Soon after taking the drink he sat down in a chair and immediately collapsed into an unconscious condition.

Lynn called up into the restaurant, which is next the flower store, and asked someone to have the clerk call Dr. Murphy. Night Clerk Jay France of the hotel, telephoned the doctor at once and he arrived at 9:45. Wymer's ambulance was then called and Mr. Crozier was taken to Mercy hospital. There all preliminary aids, such as stimulants and emetics, were given him but they were of no avail. Death occurred at 11 o'clock without the patient recovering consciousness at any time.

Crozier leaves a widow, one daughter, two sons, Carl and Lynn, and an aged father and mother. For many years he had been a prominent florist in the city but recently his sons had conducted the business while he traveled for the American Express Co. in an effort to have florists deal with this particular company.
