For several years he had been closely confined to his home because of his frailty of body, but he kept in close touch with the affairs of the day. His death occurred Saturday, November 30, and the funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday afternoon, with the Rev. H.G. Finney of the Presbyterian church in charge.
