Edward "Buster" Sankey, 71, of 160 21st St., Marion, died Thursday in St. Luke's Hospital, following a long illness.
He was born April 10, 1916, near Coggon, and married Jane Elliott on Nov. 6, 1937, at Coggon. He was a landscaper for Peck's Green Thumb Nursery, retiring in 1977.
Survivors includ his wife; two sons, Larry and Garry of Marion; five daughters, Betty Harper of Ava., Mo., Linda Klimes of Swisher, Patsy Rose of Wichita, Kan., Lois McBurney of Center Point and Sharon McKibben of Marion; a brother, Walter of Marion; a sister, Catherine Berryhill of Marion; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Murdoch Chapel in Marion, by the Rev. Howard Deal of Walker Bible Church. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday....
