Pearl H. Hamilton, 90, of Willowbrook Care Center, died Tuesday in St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, where a Rebekah service will begin at 7:30, and after 9 a.m. Friday at the chapel.
Survivors include a daughter, Kitty Beck of Cedar Rapids of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Dorothy Hess of Iowa City.
Also surviving are two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
Born Aug. 22, 1901, in Linn County, she married Herman Wertz. She later married Ray B. Hamilton. Both preceded her in death. She was a journeywoman bookbinder and a member of Home Rebekah Lodge 79, the Ladies Encampment Auxiliary and Patriarch Militant. Pearl held many offices in the Rebekah organization.
The Rev. Don Caspers will officiate. A memorial fund has been established.
