We are very sorry to learn that death has taken a sister of our friend and brother carrier, Thomas Pirnie.
On Wednesday, March 24, Mrs. Jessie Alexander Stroud passed away suddenly at her home, 1715 A ave. NE. The funeral was held at the Beatty chapel at 2 p.m. on Saturday and was conducted by Rev. W.A. Montgomery. Interment was in the family lot in Oak Hill cemetery. The postal employees tender their sincere sympathy to the bereaved family and friends of the deceased.
