Cedar Rapids Man Is Electrocuted
Cedar Rapids, Ia., Jan. 26-- (AP)--
David Baer, 37, of Cedar Rapids, an electrician employed by the Iowa Electric Light and Power company, was electrocuted this forenoon at Grand Mound while working at a company sub-station.
A ladder from which Baer was working slipped, throwing him against wires that sent 33,000 volts of electricity through his body, J.W. Howe, assistant electrical engineer of the company here, said he was informed.
