Mrs. Jellison Died at Son's Home Tuesday
Mrs. Annie L. Jellison died Tuesday noon at the home of her son, John Jellison, 107 Fifth avenue. She had been ill only a short time.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Moon, she was born August 27, 1853 in Ohio, and when still a small child came to Iowa. They settled on a farm in Clinton county where she lived until her marriage to J.W. Jellison in 1870. Their first home was in Marion. Later they lived for a time in Clinton county, but they later returned to Marion where they lived for 48 years. She is survived by five children, her husband and one daughter having precededher in death. Those surviving are John Jellison, Marion; George Jellison, LaFayette; Herbert Jellison, of Montana; Mrs. Edna Walker of Sparks, Okla., and Ed Jellison of Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Yocom chapel by the Rev. John M. Walters, pastor of the Methodist church, of which she was a member. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery.
