Thursday November 11, 1937 Marion Sentinel
Clinton W. Frager, 76, was found dead at his home a mile east of Louisa Monday evening when Carl Cherry, a neighbor, failing to see the usual light in the house, went over to investigate. His body was lying at the foot of the stairway, and the coroner, Dr. B.L. Knight, who was immediately called, estimated that the man had been dead about 24 hours.
The house was locked from the inside, the dog was in the house, and nothing about the place was disturbed. Death was laid to heart trouble. The man was a bachelor, and was living alone. He was the son of John and Mary Frager, and had lived in the community practically his entire life. He is survived by one niece, Mrs. Harry Baldwin of Texas, and by two cousins, Mrs. Ella Frager Houts and Miss Hattie Frager, both of Marion.
