TENDER TRIBUTE TO MRS. WATSON
HER FUNERAL WAS CONDUCTED SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT HER HOME.
With perfect and beautiful autumn weather prevailing Sunday afternoon, the last tender obsequies and memories to Mrs. Grace L. Watson were performed, when at her beautiful home was conducted her funeral. The beloved leader of musical circles in this city, by whose sudden death there was cast a universal pall over those who knew her was honored in the highest manner by the hundreds that attended the services.
At 3 o'clock the funeral sermon was preached by Dr. E.R. Burkhalter. The big home was filled during the ceremony, and hundreds of people stood out on the lawn. The Imperial male quartet rendered the funeral hymns. Flowers in great profusion were tendered as loving tributes. Messrs. W.R. Boyd, A.H. Sargent, Archer Sinclair, Welhelm H. Montellus, William Wisner, and Harry McKnight, were the pall bearers. The interment was on Oak Hill cemetery.
