The Marion Sentinel Thursday March 10, 1904 of Marion, Iowa
--The Lincoln (Neb.) State Journal recently contained the announcement of the death of Alva H. Halley, which occurred Feb. 18 at the home of his parents, W.H. Halley and wife, in that city. The deceased was born on a farm near Marion, Iowa, Sept. 3, 1876. In 1890 he removed to Lincoln with his parents and June 1, 1898, he was married to Miss Maude R. Wood, who, with two little daughters, survives. The deceased is spoken of in the highest terms by the Lincoln paper.
