Mrs. Florence Grone.
Mrs. Florence Mullin Grone, wife of Joseph C. Grone, 412 F avenue west died at her home at 1:20 p.m. Saturday after a lingering illness. She had been a resident of Cedar Rapids since she was 6 years of age, having been born in Bismark, N.D., Nov. 22, 1887 and came here from Minneapolis where the family resided for a short time. Mrs. Grone was well and favorably known and had many friends.
Surviving are her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry R. Mullin, of this city, two brothers, Jerry jr and Harry F. Mullin, a nieces, Irene Mullin and a nephew Harry Mullin, jr. Mrs. Grone was a member of the St. Patrick church and also of the auxiliary to the B. of I.E.
Funeral services for her will be held in St. Patrick's church at 9 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Father J.D. Kearn. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary cemetery.
