Mrs. Adelaide Albaugh, 78 years of age, widow of John Albaugh, passed away at her home, just west of Marion, Monday, after an illness of several months.
Mrs. Albaugh was one of the pioneers of this vicinity. She came here just at the close of the civil war and has lived on the one farm for fifty years. She is survived by four sons, Charles R. of Marion, R.D. of Winner, S.D., J.J. on the home farm, and Harold of Alamo, Texas; nine grandchildren and one brother, M.V. Reed, of Clarinda.
Mrs. Albaugh was a member of the Shiloh M.E. church, of the Robert Mitchell post, W.R.C., and of the Linn County Old Settlers association.
The funeral will be held at the home at 2 o'clock today with burial in Shiloh cemetery.
