W.G. Hintz, Marion, Dies
William G. Hintz, 857 Seventh St., Marion, passed away at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22[sic], at his home. He was born the son of John and Louise Hintz Sept. 23, 1881, at Storm Lake. On Nov. 20, 1932, he was married to Bertha Wentz at Sioux City. Mr. Hintz formerly lived at Tripp, South Dakota before moving to Marion twenty-five years ago. He was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad for thrity-five years and was a bridge foreman at the time of his retirement.
Mr. Hintz was a member of Evergreen Lodge No. 17, A.F. & A.M., of Madison, S.D.; Occidental Consistory and El Riad Shrine of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Brotherhood of Railway Employees.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son, William C. of Marion; a granddaughter, Carol; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Lieb of Lone Rock and Mrs. Emma Dryer of Algona and a brother, Herman Hintz of Lone Rock.
